"A" size paper for engineering design applications refers to 8.5 x 11 plotter paper.  Opaque Bond, Translucent Bond, and Vellum listed below are compatible with monochrome/CAD inkjet plotting applications and in traditional pen plotters.  Gloss presentation paper is recommended for pen plotters only.

Terminology: "A" size paper is from an engineering design classification of paper sizes most often used in pen plotters and inkjet plotters.  Size "A" is 8.5 x 11, the same as the letter size paper.  With the exception of engineering sizes "A and "B", these paper sizes do not correspond to standard office paper sizes.
