This product is color-laser printer compatible (i.e. it will withstand the intense heat conditions of even the hottest HP color laser printers).

 Color Laser Photo Paper: What does the result look like?

Making photo prints is still largely the domain of inkjet printers, except for some of the newer models of laser printers which use shinier toners.  Laser printers use toner instead of ink to produce an image.  This difference affects the print result more significantly than other factors.

Laser toner can obscure the reflective characteristics of a glossy paper because of the opacity of the toner.  By comparison, inkjet inks are transparent and allow the reflection of a glossy paper to show through.

 Application Tips...
Color laser photo paper is used most effectively when there is less solid toner coverage, interspersed lighter colors and white areas, or small photos. Large full-color photographic images on the other hand will obscure the reflective properties of the paper.   

Some newer laser printers are now employing shinier toners to address this issue, but most laser printers today still use the traditional, opaque laser toner.

Recommendations:  We recommend document layouts which use interspersed white space, lighter colors, and smaller solid images.
