Terminology: full
bleed is a general printing term describing 12 x 18-1/2 inch document printed
(or "bled") to the edge of the sheet. This is accomplished by
printing an over-sized image onto an over-sized sheet of paper such as using
12 x 18-1/2 to create an 11 x 17 print. The printed sheet is then
trimmed down to its final size.
