How do I get shipping rates and times?

Shipping rates are available in the shopping cart after entering your shipping address.  Calculations are based on the distance to your location and the weight of the shipment. 

Note:  Paper Shipments are Heavy.  Freight charges are not insignificant for shipping paper, which is a relatively heavy product by comparison to many other typical retail products.  The standard rates for UPS Ground for shipping an order will range from $10 for small orders to $30 or more for larger quantity, heavier orders.  

To get the exact shipping rates, add the items you want to the shopping cart, and then follow the Check Out process.  After your shipping address is entered, the rate will be displayed on the final page or you may click on the "see rates" link for all shipping options, and the rates each, including UPS expedited delivery methods.

For shipments to Canada, import duties will apply at the time of delivery.  These are not included in your shopping cart total.  Information on these fees is available from UPS.  


Can I Get Samples of One of Your Papers?

Sample packets are available on request to addresses in the U.S. shipped through the mail (delivery takes about 2 - 3 business days to most locations). 

Which papers are compatible with my printer?

Compatibility is guaranteed only for papers designed for your type of printer.  General compatibility rules apply for virtually all printers.  Use inkjet papers for inkjet printers and laser papers for laser printers. 

Our inkjet papers are designed for inkjet performance on virtually all inkjet printers.  To see all inkjet compatible papers, refer to the inkjet paper category page.

For laser printers, color laser printers, and copiers, refer to the laser papers category.

Our laser papers are designed for maximum compatibility performance to meet the highest performance characteristics required for color laser printers.  These papers also meet or exceed the performance requirements of virtually all B&W laser printers.


When will my credit card actually be charged?

Your order is final once you click the "submit" button.   This automatically verifies the funds in the amount of your purchase, in accordance with Federal regulations for processing credit cards on the Internet. 

The actual charge and transfer of funds does not occur until after your order has shipped, usually within a matter of minutes or up to a few hours on the same day.


What is our privacy policy?

Online purchases at Graytex are handled using a secure server. Your information is protected using sophisticated encryption technology to protect your privacy.  Notification of your online order is sent to Graytex via email, but all personal data including credit card information is maintained on a secure server, accessible only via a secure (encrypted) connection in addition to password protection.  

We are a company committed to maintaining the absolute privacy and protection of your information. All information which you provide is used only for completion of your transaction or communication with you as a customer.   We do not sell, share, or rent your email address or your physical mailing address to 3rd-parties.

Technical requirements.  To use our online shopping cart system, an Internet browser which supports 128-bit encryption ("cipher strength") is required. 

This capability is available with the latest versions of Internet Explorer (6.0 or later), Netscape Navigator (7.02 or later), or Mozilla Firefox (1.0 or later).
