Matte Paper Options...
 

Matte-coated paper is excellent for printing photographs, rich-color images, and detailed line drawings by providing a high-resolution surface which enhances color intensity and contrast.  The difference in visual appeal is dramatic compared to anything on an uncoated paper.

This makes matte paper an effective low-cost presentation paper for applications such as brochures, posters, CAD prints (refer to 13 x 19 matte paper) or other design and advertising presentation needs.


Two-Sided Applications

Brochures, Flyers, and Advertising (Two-Sided)

Two-sided matte paper is available in 32 lb., the thinnest weight, and a cover weight, 53 lb., for a card-like feel and resilience.  By comparison, 32 lb. is slightly heavier than standard 24 lb. bond.

Both of these papers are ideal for making brochures. The 53 lb. is more likely useful as a brochure cover or a single-sheet bi-fold or tri-fold brochure.

One-Sided Applications

Stand-alone Posters or Prints (One-Sided)

53 lb. matte paper will protect stand-alone photographs or posters from handling damage. Prints that will be otherwise protected (hanging on a wall or framed), are just as well served by the two thinner weights, 32 lb. and 36 lb.  Otherwise, the matte paper weight you choose is a matter of preference.
